29 weeks and counting

I had an ultrasound this week and then a Dr.'s appointment.
Things are going great and I feel good.
She is around 2lbs 9 oz.
He is just watching me a little bit close
because of the last 2 being so early.
He is going to give her steroid shots on June 17th.
I feel much better about that just in case I did have her early.
So here a two photos of what I look like right now.
I never thought that I would show myself like this before.
So I am a little embarrassed.
Not my best shot:)
Oh' well!

Yesterday we ALL went for a long walk and there were some little steep hills. Kyron says "good thing you can't get a side ache huh Mom?" I was like what? He said, "because you don't have a side anymore!" I thought I'd die! Of course I don't have a side!

Ebay

Yesterday we were at Luke's parents house and the kids were outside playing. Kenzi came running in the house and said, "I need some baggies. We are collecting Indian Clay and we are going to sell it on Ebay!" We were laughing so hard. Sure enough they were all digging way down in the ground finding, what they call, Indian Clay. It is like a redish mud! So they got 11 bags full and they have been trying to get my brother Daniel to buy it. They have been negotiating a price since last night. This morning the boys were talking back and forth about what they wanted to charge Daniel for the Indian Clay. Kason told Kyron "lets charge $1 a bag and $6 tax, so that is a total of $17." Kyron said, "we can't charge tax!" It was so funny listening to them try and figure out how much they were going to charge. Then at church they had a notebook writing back and forth to Daniel trying to negotiate a final price. Kyron is all about what the "buyer" wants and Kason is all business! He wants alot of money. I love little kids and I think it is so great what their little minds come up with...most of the time. So here is a picture of their "Indian Clay."

Ouch!

Poor little Kenz!
This is what happened a few days ago.
We were going to the park.
The kids were all on their scooters.
She was cruisin' and hit a crack in the trail.
She had blood drippin' down her legs.
Then the next day it happened again.
Blood drippin' down again.
She is so tough.
She just tries so hard to hang with the boys.

Fun weekend

Here are just a few pictures of our weekend. I was horrible about taking pictures. My parents ordered all these baby chicks a few months ago. They arrived right before church. 27 of them! The kids have been waiting for them....patiently. They spent the whole afternoon in the barn.

We went for a few rides on the Artic Cat.
We went up on the mountain a few times.

Here is my Mom's "mini " horse. It really is called that. This is as big as she will get. She is very nice and the kids love to hop on her and ride around. If they fall we don't have to worry because they don't have far to fall. Kyron not such a big fan!

You know Kenzi...she would live on a farm if she could. So this is right up her alley.
On Saturday the kids are going to be in a little rodeo. Kenzi is going to ride the mini horse doing different events. It will be so cute. I will be sure to take pictures.
Kooper is obsessed with taking these off all of the doors and cupboards. If he can't get them off with his finger he starts biting them until he loosens them and then pulls it off. He brings everyone of them to me. I have a whole drawer full. We were putting them back on but what's the point, he just pulls them back off. He has everyone in this house off!

Here are just what he brought me today!

Why I love Mom

Luke and I did our "Mothers" talks in church last Sunday and lets just say we are glad it is over. Anyway Sariah found me the little story I was looking for (Thank you). I actually wanted it for Luke to read. He did and it was just funny. I've had a ton of people ask me about it, so here it is. Enjoy...

WHY I LOVE MOM

Mom and Dad were watching TV when Mom said, 'I'm tired, and it's getting late.. I think I'll go to bed'. She went to the kitchen to make sandwiches for the next day's lunches. Rinsed out the popcorn bowls, took meat out of the freezer for supper the following evening, checked the cereal box levels, filled the sugar container, put spoons and bowls on the table and started the coffee pot for brewing the next morning. She then put some wet clothes in the dryer, put a load of clothes into the washer, ironed a shirt and secured a loose button She picked up the game pieces left on the table, put the phone back on the charger and put the telephone book into the drawer. She watered the plants, emptied a wastebasket and hung up a towel to dry. She yawned and stretched and headed for the bedroom. She stopped by the desk and wrote a note to the teacher, counted out some cash for the field trip, and pulled a text book out from hiding under the chair. She signed a birthday card for a friend, addressed and stamped the envelope and wrote a quick note for the grocery store. She put both near her purse. Mom then washed her face with 3 in 1 cleanser, put on her Night solution & age fighting moisturizer, brushedand flossed her teeth and filed her nails. Dad called out, 'I thought you were going to bed.' 'I'm on my way,' she said. She put some water into the dog's dish and put the cat outside, then made sure the doors were locked and the patio light was on. She looked in on each of the kids and turned out their bedside lamps and TV's, hung up a shirt, threw some dirty socks into the hamper, and had a brief conversation with the one up still doing homework.. In her own room, she set the alarm; laid out clothing for the next day, straightened up the shoe rack. She added three things to her 6 most important things to do list. She said her prayers, and visualized the accomplishment of her goals. About that time, Dad turned off the TV and announced to no one in particular. 'I'm going to bed.' And he did...without another thought.

Update

It has been a long two weeks without my computer.
I haven't been able to get onto my blog or anyone elses.
I have a really BAD virus!
I don't know what happened but it is not good.
I have got to get the geek squad to fix it!
I hate not having it.
I am having to use my Mom's while I am here visiting.
So a little update on what has been going on...
  • it snowed on Tuesday, Kooper was fascinated with it!
  • the boys got to go to school two hours late because of it
  • the next day it was hot and sunny
  • been working on a few projects
  • decided to come to Eagar, we haven't been since Christmas
  • kids have been catching rollie pollies and worms
  • they went fishing
  • they each caught two fish
  • went on a long 4 wheeler ride up in the mountains
  • I got to see a few of my friends
  • the kids have been helping my parents get ready for the new baby chicks
  • they have been riding the mini horses
  • playing in the dirt all day
  • bought myself some new carpi's because my regular clothes are getting so tight!

We have really enjoyed being here. It is so relaxing and fun to sit and watch the kids just play and entertain themselves. They haven't watched T.V. since we got here. Kinda nice. I hope that I can get my computer up and running soon. I have lots of pictures to share, so hopefully next time.

Happy Birthday Misty!

Baptism

This last Saturday Kason was baptized!
What a wonderful day.
He was so excited all month,
but Saturday morning he was smiling from ear to ear.
He kept saying, "I can't wait, this is the best day of my life."
When we all got to the church Luke and Kason were all dressed,
sitting in the front row.
We went and sat behind them and he was just beaming.
Isn't amazing that they know at such a young age
the importance of what they are doing?
Then after he came up out of the water he was just smiling a huge grin.
It brought a tear to my eye:)
What innocence.

All of our wonderful Family was here (minus Tori, Kevin,Nana and Poppa)
which made the day even better.
There is nothing more important than that!
We loved seeing and having them all here.
It was great!
Thanks for making Kason's day so special!

I got some pretty good pictures of everyone here and there.
Kason was also extremely suprised when Kyle
suprised him and spent the weekend with us.
It was so fun to have him and see the two of them
so happy to see each other!
Kason can't wait until he visits again!
They had a blast together.

HELP!

Yesterday at church Luke and I were asked to talk next Sunday.
I am already scared to death...yikes!
At least it is on Mothers.
Which is a great subject to talk on.
I was wondering if any of you know where I can find the little story
about the Mom that says she is going to bed and then there is a huge list of things she actually does before she makes it to her room. Then the Dad says he is going to bed and he does.
I love that story but I don't know where to find it.
If anyone knows please share.....Thanks!
