Exhausted

I have been HORRIBLE about blogging. I am horrible about even getting on the computer.

I thought that when school started and we were back in a routine that maybe,

just maybe I'd have time to get on here. I haven't!

We are busier than ever!! The kids keep me so busy. By the time I get up in the morning, run, scriptures, prayer, get the big kids out the door, get the two "littles" up and ready, clean, get lunch, get Kooper on the bus, run errands, do laundry, clean some more, play with Kali Jett, get Koop off the bus, clean some more, 2 different soccer practices (which I coach one), 2 different football practices, do homework, baths, dinner and prayers our day is pretty much over. Our weekends are completely book full with games as well. As busy as we are I LOVE every single minute of it.

One night we had just got home and it was late and I was in the kitchen trying to clean up a few things when Kooper came in and said "I need you to snuggle me Mom." (whenever he is tired he just asks me to snuggle him....I can sit/lay by him for 2 seconds and he crashes). Well I told him, "hold on just a few minutes." When I turned around this is how I found him. He was completely OUT!!!!

I just thought it was pretty stinkin' cute.

I think this is how we all feel at the end of the day (like we could crash anywhere).

Our life is CRAZY busy most of the time but that's how we roll.........and we wouldn't change a thing:)

P.S. I don't know why it did all this weird spacing. Blogger wouldn't let me change it. Oh well.

Four eyes

Kenzi failed her eye exam at school :(

So we got her right into the eye Dr.

She got all set up in these super cute little glasses.

She can now see 5x's better.

I can't believe that it took us this long to figure out that she needed glasses.

She never complained a single bit.

Looking back I notice how she only will sit in one spot in the car (so she can see the TV).

She stands right in front of things so she can see better (and not because she is so tiny).

She gets headaches. We had thought it was because of having long hair or wearing her hair in pony tails or because she was tired.

(Which I still believe all of that combined can cause your head to ache a little)

Picking your very first pair of glasses isn't easy.

It was a super hard decision for her.

She finally agreed on these ones and I think she looks adorable.

We love our little four eyed girl!
I especially love that she can now see better.

Rip, Ride and Shred

This last Saturday the boys entered a ski/snowboard competition.
I actually got away for a few hours to go cheer them on.
It was so much fun.
I loved every minute of it.
These pictures are all out of order but here they are....

Luke and his boys.
Very proud.
The boys after the competiton.
Kyron took 1st place.
He got a medal, poles and a beanie.

Kason took 2nd place.
He won a medal, new goggles and 3 beanies.

They got two runs each.
We could only see the bottom half of the course.
They did some pretty cool tricks and it was a blast to watch.
We are so proud of you boys!

Skiing

This time of year is so much fun for our kids.
They love going to Sunrise.
(good thing it's free)

Koop is our little skier!
He LOVES it!
He can't wait for Saturday's to roll around.
When he is skiing he doesn't ever want to stop, not even for lunch.
He can go all the way to the top.
He says, "I have twintwips (twin tips) and I can ski backwards."
He is constantly practicing his 360 off my couch just like "his boys" do.
I think he is so cute!

Kyron gets to go skiing every Monday with the school, plus Saturday's with Luke.
Last week he got braces.
Talk about a dent in the bank account!
He has been getting the expected name calling, by us!
Brace face, train tracks, metal mouth...you name it.
Kooper is the one who thinks it is so funny to call him brace face.
I doubt if I will ever get a picture of him with his teeth showing.
I think Kason may be our only one who won't have to get braces!
His teeth are perfect!
I hope they stay that way!
I think that Kyron and Kason look more like brothers now than they ever have.
It is totally the hair.
Kyron is giving longer hair a try.

Kyron and Kason have both been trying to master the 360 while skiing.
Kyron said he did a 540 this last Monday but didn't land it.
It is so fun to watch.
Thank goodness for video cameras!
I make Luke take my bloggie every time so that I can watch them all ski when they get home.
Maybe next year will be Kali's turn to learn and then we can all go.
I don't have a picture of Kenz but she is awesome!
She can totally hang, although she would love a girl to go with her.
She has been patiently waiting for Kooper to be able to go with her.
So now that he can go to the top she is happy!
She loves to go with Luke.
She is even starting to catch a little bit of air on some of the jumps.
She is very careful though and isn't a big risk taker.
She is perfectly fine just taking her time and watching everyone else do the crazy tricks.

Wow!

It took me almost a week to get this "washable" marker off her cute little face.
This girl kills me!
