Little mess

I was looking for Kooper and I
heard him making
some noises in the laundry room.
He had gotten
in and shut the door behind
himself. When I opened
the door he jumped and then smiled REAL big.
It was like he knew he should
not be into the detergent dumping it all over the floor.
What a stinker!

Fun in Arizona

Look at Kyron...He is crazy!
He climbed this tree like it was nothin'.
Kooper loved the swings so much.
Everytime I tried to get him out he freaked,
so I pushed him until he fell asleep.

We had a great day!

The Farm

This weekend we went to New Mexico
to spend time with Luke's family
down on the farm. It was so cold that we didn't get to do all that
we had planned but it was so much fun to see the
family and let the kids run wild outside.

Luke took the boys out this
morning on the articcat and this is what they did...
they each shot a rabbit.

This was the highlight of their trip.
Glad that we made it down and got to visit with
the fam. It was a great weekend.

*Heather and Sunee-Kason wants you to show the boys:)

Christmas decorations

We got the Christmas tree and decorations out and up this weekend. The kids were so excited. They helped haul all the boxes in and unload them. Towards the end I noticed that I was the only one decorating the tree. Kason ran by me, stopped looked at me and this is how our conversation went:

Kason: Hey Mom, doin' that all by yourself?

Me: Yup, I guess so unless you want to help?

Kason: You know when you are really excited about something and then after awhile you just get tired and bored with it?

Me: yea, I do

Kason: Well, that's pretty much where I'm at right now. Pretty much done here.

Then he just shrugged his shoulders and ran off. I was laughing so hard. Since when did he sound so BIG? It was quite funny to me.

I love the feel of the Holidays and the way the house feels when it is all decorated. Now if I could just get some Christmas shopping done.

I finished the book New Moon. It was really good, not as good as the first, but close. Now I've got to go get the 3rd to start on. I need to wait until I get a few things done that I've neglegted to do because the books have consumed my life the last week 1/2.

Dancing man

For the last few months, Kooper has cracked us up with how much he loves to dance. He especially loves Hannah Montana and High School Musical. He hears it from another room and he runs as fast as he can to either the T.V. or the stereo to hear it and dance. The boys will turn on the music just to see how happy he gets to hear it. Lately he has figured out that he can watch it on T.V. So he gets on this little chair and will sit and watch it. He will only sit still as long as the music is on.
His dancing is definitely something. We can't get enough of it.
We think that it is so cute...he cracks us up!

Crazy that I know every word to every
Hannah Montana and
HSM song out there too! They are all I hear.
I guess it could be worse.

Little Ava

Last night Amanda kept Ava and brought her over to play with the kids for awhile. Kooper of course was so interested in her and just wanted to touch her constantly..poor Ava. She didn't know what to think of him.

She loved Kenzi and of course Kenzi couldn't get enough of her. She wanted to change, play and feed her. You name it she wanted to do it!

Kenzi said she would help babysit for her anytime. So last night Ava had two babysitters. I just had to post these so that her parents could see. She is so stinkin' cute, isn't she? We enjoyed having her over for a little while.
Look at that little face! She cracks me up!

Flushed away

This morning while we were ALL in the bathroom brushing teeth, combing hair etc., Kooper found a small tube of lotion under the sink, and put it in the toilet. So Kyron went over and sat on the toilet so that Koop wouldn't try to get it out. A few minutes later KYRON flushed the toilet...with the tube of lotion in it! He instantly felt awful and started crying. He said, "I was trying to distract Kooper and I just forgot it was in there." I couldn't believe it, especially that it was Kyron who flushed it. Oh well, what do ya do? So now we are just waiting until Luke figures out how to fix the toilet situation!

I tried to get one of the two of them,
well this is as good as it gets.
This is pretty much how they always
are with each other.
Crazy brothers, but what would they do with
out one another.
Gotta love it!

Can't wait...

  • for vacation. The kids are so excited to go to Az for a little va-ca. Luke hasn't been in almost a year so I think he is more excited than anyone!
  • to actually wear winter clothes while we are in Arizona. I am wearing shorts again today...hello it is the middle of November!
  • until Kenzi brushes her teeth without throwing a fit about it EVERYDAY!
  • to put up our Christmas tree on Friday! I know it is early but we can't wait...plus we will be gone until Dec. 1, so we are dying to get all the decorations up.
  • to listen to Christmas music.
  • to buy some new pants.
  • to see all of our family next week.
  • to go to Disneyland in January! (shh we are surprising the kids)
  • until Kooper sleeps through the night.
  • to go Christmas shopping.
  • to do some holiday crafts with the kids.
  • to go read the 2nd of the Twilight series, New Moon. So far, so good!

But, I can definitely wait for track break. I don't like the idea of 7 weeks off. Thank goodness we are going to Az 2 times during the break otherwise I'm afraid that my kids will drive me cra-zy!

Our little "Sharpay"

Last week we found Kenzi a few new dresses because she really is in dyer need of church dresses. I picked one and she picked one. This is the one that she picked. It is bright red with sparkles all over it and it is cut on the bottom "just like Sharpay's" (from High School Musical). She has been dying for a dress like this and begged and begged to have it. She promised all kinds of things if I got it for her. So of course, I got it for her. She was more than willing to get ready for church this morning. She was ready 4 hours before the rest of us, just so she could wear her new dress. She wanted me to curl her hair just like Sharpays. After I did this she said, "now who do I look just like Mom?" I pretended to think about it and I said, "Sharpay?" She acted all surprised that I guessed Sharpay and said, "I really do,don't I?" So then she said "will you get the camera and take some pictures of me?" So this is her posing like Sharpay. In the meantime the boys are all watching me take pictures of her and she says, "Dad who do I look like?" He looks at me like...who. He guessed Sharpay and she was so excited. She just smiled at him and said, "your right, I actually do look just like Sharpay!" She gave us all a good laugh today. But she reminded us all day that her favorite is still Gabriella, she just likes Sharpays clothes and hair, ha ha!

The Ant Farm

For Kyron's birthday back in August, Uncle Tim and Aunt Tori got Kyron an Ant Farm. We received the farm part the end of August. After we got that we were to order ants. So we did that. It was suppose to take 2-8 weeks. So... everyday for the first 2 weeks Kyron checked the mail..faithfully. Well every week he started to check it less and less until he finally quit altogether. I think he actually kinda forgot about it. A few days ago we finally got the ants. After we read the directions we added the tube of ants to the farm. It said that they may seem sluggish and could take up to 24 hours to revive. So after 24 hours only 3 ants out of about 20 or so are alive. So we have already ordered more. But Kyron is still so excited about them and sits and watches them for hours. He loves it. I think that they appreciate things and maybe even like them more when they have to anticipate them for so long. So after three months of waiting, here's Kyron and his Ant farm and 3 living ants!

By the way I have totally been slacking on blogging because of the book "Twilight." I can't put it down. I love it!

Grammie

Grammie finally made it up for a visit after a few months. We have sure missed her! The kids were so excited to see her. Every year she likes to take the kids down town to see the "seasoned room" at the Belligio. The kids love it because it is different every season. So here are a few pictures of us there. Gram has alot better ones than me so maybe she can blog them:)

We can't wait to see the WINTER room. If you haven't ever gone, you should. It is so neat!

We are so glad that Grammie came up for Kooper's birthday and to see Daniel and Chelsee's new house and all her Vegas grand kids. We already miss you!

Happy Happy Birthday to Kooper!

Kooper wasn't too sure about
the birthday cake. But it didn't take him
long to figure it out

He was just getting started.

This is my favorite one!

I can't believe that it has already been one year since I had him and he gave us a little scare and had to spend 2 weeks in the hospital.

It kinda hit me that this was my LAST 1st birthday for one of my kids. It is bitter sweet. I couldn't be happier that we have the family that we have. We have been so blessed. I just can't believe how time flies. It has been such a great year for us with him in our family.

I think that the other kids were more excited about his party then anyone else. It was fun to see them all so happy for Kooper. They sang happy birthday to him all day. Everytime they sang he would just start dancing. He couldn't figure out what was going on.

What a fun fun day!

More Halloween pictures

We had such a fun night of trick-or-treating! The kids love to go with their friends, so that's what we did!

Kyron changed his costume at the last minute to a dirt bike rider..whatever!

They were so excited that Aunt Amanda came with us. She was dressed up a little, which they thought was so cool!

Thanks for coming with us Aunt Amanda!
