Little special agent Kyron

I am always saying how much Kyron is like Luke in alot of ways,
well here's the proof!

We just finally got our car registered here in Arizona.
We did it while the kids were at school.
Luke changed the plates.
There only has to be one plate on the cars here.
As for Nevada there is one on the front and one on the back.
I never thought another thing about it, anyway...
We were at football practice the other day and practice was about done.
I went ahead and was getting the little kids loaded.
It was getting a little dark.
I was standing in the door buckling Kooper when I looked up and saw Kyron just standing across the street staring at me.
I said, come on dude let's go!"
He just stood there and he said, "is that our car?"
Ummm yes.... I am in it....
He says, "are you sure?"
Yup, pretty sure!
So he looks over the car for a few more seconds then he says, "where is the front license plate?"
He was seriously doubting me for being in the car!
If I were little I would have just ran to the car that looked JUST like mine and got in,
Especially if I saw MY Mom in it!
Maybe only I can appreciate it, but it was pretty funny!
If only I could show you all what his face looked like!
Luke is all about details.
He has a semi photographic memory (so I think).
We can walk into a restaurant (or anywhere) and later he can tell me who was wearing what, sitting where and what cars are parked where.
This is why he is such a GREAT special agent!
When Kyron did this, he reminded me of Luke.

Also Kenzi received the Trustworthy Award today at school! yay for the bear!

One more thing!
We are on our way to Las Vegas Wednesday!
We are super excited to go see our family and friends.
The kids are counting down the minutes!

Little ears

Tuesday was the awful but exciting day!
I took Kali to get her ears pierced!
She only cried for a second.
She was so good.

It took the kids awhile to notice.

Kenzi was of course the first to spot the earrings in her ears.

She is super smiley and finally growing out of her colic stage!

(yay for me)

Glad that we got her ear piercing done!

Let's just all hope that Kooper doesn't try to pull them out!

Football season

is almost over!
Since the end of July these boys have been going at it.
Before school started they had practice 5 days a week for 2-3 hours a day.
Then when school started they went to 4 days a week.
Then after the games started they went to 3 days a week.
They have had games every Saturday since August.
Our Saturdays are filled with 6 hours of watching football games.
The regular season is over and now it is time for the playoffs.
With Kasons team being undefeated and Kyron's team being winless, it has been a super fun season.
Kason's team is automatically in the championship game, which will be played in the NAU dome.
They are SO excited about that!
Kenzi also will be performing.
Although Kason's team is awesome, I can't really say the same for the little cheerleading squad that Kenzi is on. Let's just say that she won't be doing that again! At least not with the coach she has!
So let's all pray that Kyron's team can maybe win at least one game during the playoffs.

Although it has made for lots of long nights and busy weekends, Luke and I have loved every minute! It has been so good for these boys! They have great coaches and they have learned alot. Especially Kyron. He is way more competitive than Kason and he has learned that winning isn't everything...It's the ONLY thing! Just kidding. He has learned that as long as you are having fun and trying your best that is all you can do. They have both had a blast and they can't wait until they are on the same team. I can't wait for that either:)

Obsession

Most of you know of the love that Kooper has for his nose and ears. He just simply cannot helpbut to put whatever he can in them. If he doesn't have anything to put in them he just puts his finger in them. Especially his nose. It drives me SO crazy because he looks like he picks his nose ALL the time! Every time he puts anything in his nose he tells me. We have dug many things out of his ears and nose but thankfully it has never taken too much effort until...Saturday night! He came and told me he put something up his nose. We could tell just by looking at him. One side of his nose was totally sticking out! We tried asking him what it was and of course we couldn't understand a word he said. It was so far up his nose that I had to get a flashlight out to see it. He would run around and play and then he would stop and say ouch! Well duh of course it hurts! So with the help of Luke holding him down I tired and tried to get it out with tweezers. I couldn't get a good hold on it, it was too far up! So we tried every trick there was. We tried to get him to blow, but getting an almost 2 year old to blow is impossible. He can make the sound with his mouth but doesn't get the whole blowing part. He even sneezed alot of times but as soon as he was done he sniffed everything back up! Luke and Kason are both pretty big wimps when it comes to anything like this. Although Luke helped hold him down once he was not about to do that again. It hurts him to bad to watch! Kooper was pretty good about holding still until the tweezers touched the object in his nose and then he just would freak! I got the baby nose syringe (aka the booger sucker) and tried to get it with that. It didn't work, except for getting all the boogers out that he had from crying! So finally I just got the tweezers one more time and just dug until I finally got it! OUCH! I know it had to hurt but maybe just maybe he will not do it again! We are still not sure what exactly it was. It was about the size of a dime and about 3 times as thick. How he ever got that up his nose is beyond me. It almost looked and felt like and eraser but it wasn't one. Who knows, but at least it is out! So we told the older kids that every time they see him put anything up his nose to slap his hand and tell him NO! mean I know but this may just save him from having to go through that again.

By the way if I wouldn't have been able to get it out I would have just waited until today to take him to the doctor. I wouldn't have went on a Saturday night and waited forever in the ER! Mean again I know, but he could breath fine. It wasn't up both sides!

Kali's Blessing

I couldn't pick a favorite picture of her.
They are all just way too cute!

Our families joined us in blessing Kali this past weekend at my parents house.
It was so beautiful and the spirit was so strong.
I love to hear the blessings Luke gives our kids.
It just shows a side to him that makes my heart melt.
She is such a special little blessing in our family.
Everyday I look at her and think how blessed I am to be her Mom.
She was just meant to be a part of our family.
She is so innocent and so pure.
What a sweet baby girl.
I love to watch and see how much my other kids love her.
We just love her to pieces and we couldn't be happier!

p.s. i'm not sure how wendy got such beautiful pictures of kali because she honestly cried and screamed her head off the whole time. i LOVE everyone of them.

Ice Skating

For months Kenzi has wanted to go ice skating for her birthday.
So we finally went!
She invited Abbie to join us.Kenzi and Abbie just before they got on the ice.

Kyron and Kason strike a pose before they get on the ice.

He was much happier off the ice having a drink.
Notice the skates, he wanted them on the entire time,
even though he didn't skate!
She got brave and loved every minute.

I caught the end of Kyron falling.

Luke even took a turn on the ice.

Kenzi and Abbie stayed close to the wall.
They did get brave and towards the end even went out in the
middle on their own,Kooper walking around in his too big skates.Me and KenzKooper and Jack resting!

We are so glad that Kellie, Abbie and Jack came with us.

It was such a fun time.

The boys were a little more daring then the little girls.

They had lots of crashes... HILARIOUS!

We left with only one injury(if that's what it was).

Kason ate the ice hard and split his lip.

He wouldn't let me take a picture of it.

He was afraid I would blog it!

(he knows me all to well:))

We can't wait to go again!
