Random post

This week has gone by pretty fast.
We brought Kali home Tuesday.
We've had company (which we love).
Kyron and Kason took off to Vegas to spend the week with the Abbotts's (poor Heather).
I talked to the boys last night and they said that they are having the best time they have
ever had in their lives.
Kyron said it feels so good to be "home".
They couldn't wait to get there.
Kenzi sure is missing them.
She shed a few tears last night for them.
They are all she has so she is pretty bored.
Kooper just isn't as fun, she says.
Kali is such a good girl, so far.
She doesn't make a peep, unless she is hungry.
We are totally enjoying her.
Kooper has handled NOT being the baby anymore, just fantastic.
I am surprised.
He looks so big all of the sudden.
Kinda makes me sad.

This picture is proof of how big he is getting. He looks huge next to the "Jetterbug".
I hope that her complexion stays this pretty! We signed the boys up for tackle football.
Kooper wears around the boys old helmets and if he isn't wearing it
he is hauling it where ever he goes.
I am afraid that the real games aren't going to be so much fun for me
because he is going to think that he should be out on the field too.
He just loves sports!

Our little meant to be

Kali Jett Woolf
July 21, 2008
10:41 am
5 lbs. 12oz.
17 3/4 in.

Well she is finally here!
Sunday evening I started having contractions.
Since we don't have any family in town
and had to wait 3 hours for Lukes sister to come tend the other kids,
I drove myself to the hospital.
Luke got there as soon as his sister arrived.
I was definately in labor.
I had her Monday morning.
It was FAST and EASY!!!
My Mom got there about 3 minutes before I had her.
Lucky!
Luke's Mom was in Cheyenne, so we missed her.

These are all pictures of her at the hospital. It is amazing how much she has changed just in 2 days!
I think that I got one more that looks like me!
So far she looks alot like Kyron.
She had her first appointment yesterday.
She is holding her weight great.
She was weighing 5lbs. 5oz.
Not too bad for being 4 weeks early.

Kenzi is definatly the BOSS of her.
She calls her "Jetterbug"
She doesn't like anyone else to hold her.
She has a hard time sharing her, and Kyron is in a close 2nd.
They kiss her and smother her all day.
Kason just talks to her and tells her how pretty she is
and how he is so happy she was a girl and on and on.
Kooper still isn't sure about her.
He forgets that we have her and then he will see her and just scream BABY!
It is super cute.
She is a sweet little spirit.
She is such a tiny thing.
What would we do without her.
We are so blessed that Kenzi prayed her into our family!
Words can't explain how much
We LOVE LOVE LOVE her.

Memory Lane

I saw this on Kirsten's blog and I thought it would be fun to try, even though I have the worst long-term memory ever!

!1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Update

We had Amanda and Kevin stopped by.
They were on their way home to Vegas.
They took the bigger kids to a movie,
which they loved!

Here they are on the way to the movies!
They kids have been playing alot of guitar hero Areosmith, so they had fun playing it with Kevin:)

Amanda and Kenzi went to the mall.

Kenzi got spoiled by Amanda!

So did the new baby!

Kenzi had fun putting makeup on herself and Amanda.

Don't they look so pretty?

Thanks Amanda and Kevin.
We miss you so much and it was fun to see you.

A little update on the baby!
She is doing good.
They think she is small so they will keep
doing ultrasounds to check on her.
She is in the 10th percentile (if they are right).
But who knows.
I am 35 weeks and she is weighing in at 4.3 lbs.
This is how far along I was when I had Kooper.
So lets hope that I can make it a few weeks longer.
Things are great and I am just about ready to be DONE!

The kids are on a kick today.
They are all ready to move back to Las Vegas.
They miss their friends and our old house and ward.
I can't blame them, I do too, BAD!
They have been begging to go at least visit.
Which we are planning, but not until Halloween.
They think that is too far away.

Look at this cute little cheesy grin.

Whenever we tell him to smile this is what he does.

I love it!

A week in review

We of course had a wonderful 4th.
The kids enjoyed seeing all the family and just playing.
I didn't do great at taking many 4th pictures.
But here are a few!It was a little bright!
I tried to get them again later and they refused! Then Monday we headed to the lake.
We went to Roosevelt with Nate, Jen and their kids,Tim, Tori,
Amanda and Kevin.
Thanks to Amanda I got a few pictures.
She took my camera and that is the only reason I have pictures.
Kenzi and Harlee
Kyron and Uncle Kevin
Kason skiing
Here's Luke and in the background is Kenzi and Harlee on the tube!
Flag girl
Kyron and Kason
This is the rattlesnake that walked right in front of
Jennifer.
They killed it and cut off the rattlers!
Scary!
The kids thought it was awesome.

Aunt Amanda
Kooper playing in the water.
We had such a good time.
I was bummed that I couldn't go out on the tube or boogie board.
Next year though.
We are going to do it again next year, but for longer!
We didn't want to leave.
We missed Daniel, Chelsee, Camdyn and my Mom and Dad,
but next year they will for sure have to be there.
I love spending time with everyone.
We don't get to do it often enough!

Tagged...again

I LOVE this time of year! It brings back lots of memories from when I was younger and in high school. I love the feeling that it brings to everything! Here are a few of my favorite things about the 4th of July!

  • family gatherings
  • parade
  • seeing old and new friends
  • rodeo
  • dances
  • seeing red white and blue everywhere
  • dressing my kids up
  • 4th of July breakfast at my Mom's
  • the patriotic feeling
  • fireworks
  • flags

Now that I made my list, it doesn't seem very long. I have to say that this is one of my favorite holidays! I just love everything about it! I mostly love that my whole family comes home and we get to hang out alot. It is so different now that I am a Mom and have kids. I use to love to go to the dances and the rodeo :) Now I dress my kids up in red, white and blue and love to watch them at the parade. I hope that everyone has a great 4th of July!

I am tagging Amanda, Kirsten, Misty Nicki and whoever else wants to do it!
