My sweet friend Wendy wanted to take a few pictures of Kali.

You can imagine how excited I was about it!

I couldn't wait!

This is my sister-in-law who was here visiting and Wendy snapped a few of her too.

I don't know if there is anything sweeter than babies.

I am so happy that she captured my two.

Growth, helmets and hair

In order for the kids to do sports they all had to get a sports physical.
Let me just say that it was very entertaining to watch the boys get one.
They had never been "checked" so thorough before.
So for my memory I just wanted to write down all their information to look back on someday.

I also just got my hair done! Let me just tell you how BAD I needed it done. I feel like a new person. That is the greatest thing to get done after you have a baby! So, thank you Kellie for making it look so GREAT! I am sure that it was driving her as crazy as it was me:)




I thought this picture was so funny! If you look real close you can see that Kooper (with a big football helmet on) is stuck between the front bumper of my car and some stacked boxes. He was in our garage, he found one of the boys football helmets and he was trying to get back inside with it on. He was not taking it off!

First day of school

Last Thursday was the first day of school for the kids.

They were so excited, especially Kenzi.

She went to bed early so she could get as much sleep as possible.

You know how girls are, she had her clothes layed out, lunch made and backpack ready!

She was counting down!

Well, she woke up SICK to her tummy!

Poor thing.

She still tried to convince me she was okay after she made a few trips to the toilet.

She didn't end up going until lunch time the first day.

(yes, I let her go sick and all)

I wouldn't have let her except that it was the first day.

She slept for 2 hours woke up and was ready to go!

Weird, she didn't feel sick ever again.

There's nothing like seeing her sad little face sick.

She was trying to pretend like she was fine.

I got my camera out and was going to take a picture of the 3 of them all ready,

I went looking for little miss Kenzi and this is what I found.....

She as just waiting to throw up again!

Handsome as can be! Here she is after her little nap.
She was so cute and excited to be going all day with her brothers.


Kooper was devastated that he didn't get to go.

When I took Kenzi to school, after she was done being sick,

I had to DRAG him out of the school.

I'm sure I looked like a real nice Mom.

I had Kali in her car seat in one arm and then I was dragging Kooper with my other.

He literally sat down in the hall, screaming Kenzi's name and he had his head in his hands just crying!

Then because it was Kyron's birthday and we took cupcakes to the school later that day,

we went through the whole kicking and screaming (for Kyron) all over again!

Lets just say we were glad when the kids got home.

How long have you been together? We have been married 11 years today!

How old were we when we got married? I was 18 and he was 22

How old is Luke? He just turned 33

How old am I? 29

who eats more? Luke does.

Who is taller? Luke by 1 inch.

Who sings better? Neither of us are blessed in that area but I sure sing any song I know

Who does the laundry? I do, 2 loads a day!

Who pays the bills? I do, always have.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? If you are laying down, Luke does.

Who mows the lawn? When we have grass Luke does. I do have to say that when he was gone to Georgia for 4 months I did.

Who cooks dinner? I do... and I think I am pretty good at it most of the time!! But he does all the barbecuing

Who drives? Luke does. I like to sleep.

Who is more stubborn? I must admit that I am.

Who kissed who first? UMMM...of course he kissed me first. But it took him like 6 months. What a good boy!

Who has more friends? I do. He just doesn't need friends like me.

Who has more siblings? I have four and he has one.

Who wears the pants? On which day?! HAHA... I think we evenly share our responsibilities and can usually compromise together. He does call me the BOSS though, so maybe I do.

Who is better on the computer? Luke definitely is.

Who stays up later? Luke does. He teases me that I fall asleep as soon as we tuck the kids in. I do surprise him and will stay up later than him once in awhile. I do need my sleep.

Who talks more? Really? What guy talks more than girls? Of course I do!

Where did we honeymoon? We went on a cruise to the Bahamas.

Who has more patience? That would be me, but Luke is way laid back.

Who has the better job? I would have to say definitely me. His is pretty exciting but mine is way more rewarding. If I got paid, we would be rich! Plus mine is harder, he would agree!

Who is more competitive? We are both pretty equal on this. We are both really competitive. I am glad we are on the same team.

Well, that was fun!

I am so lucky to be married to the greatest guy ever!

He is so supportive and is the best dad ever!

I can't believe that we have been married for 11 years.

Time flies when your having fun..or is it when your having alot of kids?

We have the greatest marriage and I am so blessed to have him.

Kyron is 10!

I can't believe how big he is and that he has reached double digits!

Kyron is such a good boy!

He is the best big brother.

He takes such great care of his brothers and sisters.

He plays so good with Kooper.

He is so responsible.

He's my little babysitter.

He is smart and does great in school.

He likes sports alot, and is really good at them.

He loves to watch the Discovery channel, the history channel and of course ESPN.

He is in 4th grade.

He is scared of the dark.

He gets car sick.

He loves babies.

He loves nutty bars.

He's really good at guitar hero.

He gives the best hugs.

He is polite.

He is getting a little attitude though.

He loves his family!

Kooper cracks us up with his love for sports!

My other boys have always loved it too, but Kooper is so into it.

I'm sure it has ALOT to do with watching Kyron and Kason.

He wants to be big and be just like them.

He wants to play catch all day, and whoever is playing with him better have the glove on just right,

Or hold the bat just perfect.

He even likes to watch it on T.V.

I had to edit this picture because it was a full on front naked shot!

So the boys just started tackle football.

Kenzi started cheerleading.

She will be cheering for Kason's team.

SO cute!

Whenever we go to the practices (which have been 5 days a week, for 2 hours a day),

he just loves it and he plays football the whole time.

He thinks he should be allowed on the field with the boys.

He was taking his usual hour (or longer) bath, when I found him all dressed up and ready to play football.

By the way, when he takes a bath he plays for awhile and gets out for awhile, then he gets some animals or trucks and throws them in the bath with him and then gets out for awhile, until he has finally filled the tub up with all sorts of toys and is "DONE" playing.

His little tush and legs are so red from the water in the tub.

He likes his water toasty, because it has to last a long time while he takes his time getting in and out!

I just love it!

He makes me smile...ALOT:)

Happy Birthday Luke

I asked the kids what they loved best about their Dad and this is what I got out of them.

Kyron-There are alot of things. He spends lots of time with us. He teaches me how to play sports and how to shoot guns. He takes good care of me. He is really funny and he laughs alot. I like that he can go to church with us alot now. He always makes us be good. He is SO cool!

Kason-Lots of things. I like when he takes us to the park to play football and baseball. He's nice. He never yells at us. He has the coolest job. I like to tell people what he does for a job. He is the best Dad ever!

Kenzi- I like EVERYTHING about him. I like when he takes me on walks and when he holds my hand and snuggles me. I like when he plays tag and hide-n-seek. He is a secret agent. He is handsome!

Kooper- Dad....Dad...go ride...dad..bye

I didn't get a thing out of Kali:)

What I love about him is ....well lots, but here are a few.

• He defiantly makes me laugh all the time. He is really funny and even when I don't want to laugh at him, I do. He is great like that.


• I love how he gives nicknames to everyone.


• He is quiet but not shy.


• I love when he moves Kenzi's hair out of her face and holds her head in his hands and talks to her like there is nobody else in the world.


• He spends lots of time with the boys teaching them.


• He has great manners.


• He is super smart. I always tell him he should be on Who wants to be a millionaire, but he doesn't agree. He always knows the answers before anyone.


• He's a good driver, which is important when I get super car sick.


• Loves sports.


• He reads his scriptures everyday.


• He loves to read and learn.


• His laugh is so contagious.


• He's loyal, kind, responsible, supportive etc.


• Works super hard for our BIG family.


• He took us all to Disneyland even when he didn't want to go, at all..now that's love.


• He is clean, I don't just mean his body, I mean he cleans up after himself really good.


• He loves to just chill out with me.


• He loves to go on dates with me when we get a chance.


• He keeps really good secrets. Most of the time without knowing it.
