Christmas

Kason always says....The worst days of the year is the day after Christmas and the day after your birthday because you have to wait 365 more days until it is here again!
So true!

I didn't do good at all taking pictures.
I tried to video everything this year, because I really wanted to see and hear their reactions,
so I really didn't get any pictures of us on Christmas morning.
Oh' well, here are a few pictures of what they
have been enjoying this past week!
Gotta love Guitar Hero!
The boys love this and are already really good.
I must admit that Luke and I enjoy it too:)
I love his face here!

They can't wait until we get another guitar

so that they can battle each other!

It's always going to be like that isn't it?
They got Air Hogs (one already broken),

Heelys, sports stuff, clothes, movies, games, books, and a few other things.

How could I forget, they got skateboards that Luke was NOT thrilled about!

The wii was there BIG gift so they didn't get much else!

Miss Kenz got way TOO much!

This is what she really wanted, a scooter.

Every time we go on a walk she begs to use one of the boys, sometimes they let her and other times they would ride it just so she couldn't. They love to get a reaction out of her.
She got lots of babies, a pink sparkly guitar, bath robe, boots, and way more than I can remember!

Poor Koop just got this TODAY!

We did get him one for Christmas but it was too big!

It was funny because he was so excited but he immediately

got frustrated when he couldn't reach the rim.

He put it by the couch and stood there and would shoot it, get down, chase the ball, climb back up and do it all over again.

So I took the other one back and finally found this smaller one!

I guess we need to check things out a little closer before we buy them.

I figured we would be okay

since it said toddler but we weren't.

Oh'well, lesson learned!

He has been playing with this non stop for a few hours.

He also loves the wii!

For those of you who are familiar with them,

he gets the control just like the boys and pretends

to swing at the ball or throw it.

We have tried to trick him and give him a different control

but he knows which one is which.

Very entertaining to watch.

Over all we had a WONDERFUL Christmas!

Love all the time that we got to spend with our families.

It really is the greatest time of year.

I must say that I am ready to get back on schedule.

It always feels better when we are.

Patriots make history

This one is for Kyron!

His FAVORITE team is the New England Patriots,
and Tom Brady of course his favorite player.
He wanted me to put some pictures on here
so that we have them making history documented!
(Like it isn't all over the T.V)
They went undefeated this season!

Baby it's cold outside

Since we moved to Las Vegas over 3 years ago,
I must admit that my kids have not had a chance to play in the snow.
How sad is that?
Last Christmas we didn't make it home,
and the 2 years before that while we were here there was NO snow
...Cold but no Snow!
So we took them to the old ski run today.
We were pretty much the only ones there and the kids had a ball.

The kids looked like total desert kids in their low top tennis shoes and mittens.
We have NO winter clothes!
We barely started wearing pants a month ago!
I figure what is the point buying them for one trip.
We at least did have hats and sweatshirts.
The didn't know the difference.
They loved every second of it.

Kooper wanted to play so bad,
but he couldn't figure out why his hands were SO cold!

We were so happy that Grandpa and Grammie got to join us!

Kenzi was totally posing for this shot!
Can you tell?

It was a great time and we got some good pictures!

Best buds

The boys played football in the backyard
for hours yesterday.
It was cold (for here) so they got all dressed up
and had a great time.

This is one of their favorite things in the world to do.
If it isn't outside, it is in the house...all over the house.
It usually ends with one of them crying
but I guess that is what brothers are for...right?
They really are best friends.
Kyron would be lost without Kason,
he just isn't much of a "friend" kinda boy.
Good thing that Kason is because his friends are Kyrons.
It is fun to watch them. They are so
different.

Keeping Camdyn

We were lucky enough to keep Camdyn the other night while
Daniel and Chelsee went to dinner.
She was PERFECT for us!
She was entertained the whole time and didn't even complain about being hauled around by Kenzi!
She played with all the kids and Aunt Shana, Nana and Papa.
She is even starting to like Luke.
She just kept laying on his shoulder and smiling at him.

She had tons of toys to play with...and kids!

I couldn't get a good picture of these two because they would see me and they would both try to get the camera. So this was the best I got!

Kenzi wanted to paint her fingers and toes, change her
earrings and do her hair but
by the time we were done with dinner and playing
Kenzi was ready for bed and so were the
two babies.
So next time Camdyn!

Mutton Bustin'

I didn't get very many good pictures but here are a few of the ones that aren't too blurry!
We had such a fun week. We went downtown a few times to do the mutton' bustin'. We went down with the Redd's, Abbott's, Aunt Chels and Camdyn, and with Nana Papa and Aunt Shana. It was so much fun but I have had enough for the year. We were down there so much that the announcers new us as "The Woolf Pack". They even gave Kooper a number and a belt buckle. The kids like to do that every year during the NFR. They got some autographs from some of the pro rodeo guys. They thought that was so much fun.
Everyday during the mutton' bustin' they gave out t-shirts for the best victory dance and the end of their ride, and all week my kids passed on the dancing. Well on the last day that they rode KYRON suprised us all and did a little dance. We couldn't believe it. Kason maybe, but Kyron! He won the t-shirt and I got it all on film.

We were so happy that Nana Papa and Shana made the trip to see us, watch the kids ride the sheep and for Kason's basketball game.

We love to have them visit!
This has to be my favorite picture! I just love it!

Dear Santa

I saw this and thought it was funny so thought I'd share...

Dear Santa,

I've been a good mom all year. I've fed, cleaned and cuddled my children on demand, visited the doctor's office more than my doctor and sold sixty-two cases of candy bars to raise money to plant a shade tree on the school playground.

I was hoping you could spread my list out over several Christmases, since I had to write this letter with my son's red crayon, on the back of a receipt in the laundry room between cycles, and who knows when I'll find anymore free time in the next 18 years.

Here are my Christmas wishes:

I'd like a pair of legs that don't ache (in any color, except purple, which I already have) and arms that don't hurt or flap in the breeze, but are strong enough to pull my screaming child out of the candy aisle in the grocery store.

I'd also like a waist, since I lost mine somewhere in the seventh month of my last pregnancy.

If you're hauling big ticket items this year I'd like fingerprint resistant windows and a radio that only plays adult music, a television that doesn't broadcast any programs containing talking animals, and a refrigerator with a secret compartment behind the crisper where I can hide to talk on the phone.

On the practical side, I could use a talking doll that says, "Yes, Mommy" to boost my parental confidence, along with two kids who don't fight and three pairs of jeans that will zip all the way up without the use of power tools.

I could also use a recording of Tibetan monks chanting "Don't eat in the living room" and "Take your hands off your brother," because my voice seems to be just out of my children's hearing range and can only be heard by the dog.

If it's too late to find any of these products, I'd settle for enough time to brush my teeth and comb my hair in the same morning, or the luxury of eating food warmer than room temperature without it being served in a styrofoam container.

If you don't mind, I could also use a few Christmas miracles to brighten the holiday season. Would it be too much trouble to declare ketchup a vegetable? It will clear my conscience immensely. It would be helpful if you could coerce my children to help around the house without demanding payment as if they were the bosses of an organized crime family.

Well, Santa, the buzzer on the dryer is calling and my son saw my feet under the laundry room door. I think he wants his crayon back. Have a safe trip and remember to leave your wet boots by the door and come in and dry off so you don't catch cold. Help yourself to cookies on the table but don't eat too many or leave crumbs on the carpet.

Yours Always,

MOM...

P.S. One more thing...you can cancel all my requests if you can keep my children young enough to believe in Santa.

LOVE THESE BOOKS!

Forgot to mention that I finally finished all 3 of these books!

I am dying to read the 4th.

Also I heard that they started filming the series.

Can't wait...even though the books will always be better.

If you haven't read these books (Chelsee),

then you are missing out!

LOVE LOVE LOVE them!

Glad that I finally finished because now I can

get back to the things I SHOULD be doing!

Christmas pictures

I always like to do Christmas pictures and they
usually don't include Luke and I.
Luke isn't a big fan of pictures so I just don't
bother trying to get him to do it.
Next year I am really going to try though.
So here are a few...okay ALOT of pictures
that Heather took of the kids.
I didn't realize I put so many on here.
Oh' well..

Heather is amazing!
(thank you thank you)
We had 8 CRAZY kids that would
have rather climbed the rocks
than get there pictures taken.
But they turned out GREAT and the kids
had a blast playing.

Priceless

My girl

Lately Kenzi has been really attached to me...actually her whole life she has been. It just seems like lately it has been so much worse. She doesn't want to go anywhere without me or she really has to think about going to play with friends. She rather just stay home with me and invite everyone to our house. I can't complain because someday it just might not be like this. After being out for a few hours the other night this was our conversation.

Kenzi: Mom will you snuggle me?
Me: Sure
So we laid down under a blanket
Kenzi: I don't want you to leave again without me.
Me: Sometimes I just have to so that I can get a little shopping for Christmas done so that you won't see.

Then Kyron tunes in on the conversation and says, "When are you going to go do more for us?" I said "oh sometime this weekend hopefully."

Kenzi: I only need two presents and they are already under the tree so you don't need to leave me again to go anywhere.
Me: Are you sure that is ALL that you want?
Kenzi: Yup, I'm sure. Santa will bring me all the rest.
Me: Santa only brings you one big one and me and Dad get all the rest.
Kenzi: Okay I'm fine with only having 3 as long as you don't leave me again.

I was dying:) So sweet that she rather not have many presents and have me be home with her. Can you imagine if I actually had a REAL job?

She is definitely a mama's girl and I love it!

What happened?

I took a few pictures of him in his new
little suit, and look...he looks so big!
I can't believe it!

I think that he is SO cute, of course!

What happened? A year went by so fast!

Back in the day

Do you remember sliding down the stairs in sleeping bags? I remember doing it and I remember how much FUN it was. This is all that these 3 have been doing for the last few days. They just giggle and laugh the whole time. They are getting along so good too! Kooper stands at the top of the stairs and just watches the whole time. They haven't complained about the hard wood floor on the bottom of the stairs either. It must be so fun that they don't notice. I love how much fun they have doing something so simple. It keeps them entertained for hours. I'm sure that my mom use to think the same thing!
